In October I went to Nicaragua to visit my parents. Jinotepe is located 45 minutes Southwest of the capital of Managua, at 1,867 ft above sea level with a population roughly at about 33,000 people. Jinotepe is a quiet little town and its known primarly for its coffee. This town will really give you a taste of what the true culture and authentic lifestyle of the native Nicaraguan really is.
