Honduras... mi patria
This trip was long due,it's amazing how I was born there and lived for 24 years and never had the opportunity to visit places. Honduras has amazing landscape, colonial towns and nice beaches... did I mentioned food? I was able to enjoy fun time together with some old high school friends,I can say this was the highlight of my trip. I visited the capital Tegucigalpa, Valle de Angeles for some authentic Honduran crafts,Copan to visit the ruins and Roatan for some beach fun. In Copan, we stayed in Hacienda San Lucas,a 100 year old family owned retreat; if you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is the place to go. The food is prepared in rustic, open kitchen. Flavia, thanks so much for your hospitality and to my dear friends I will come back to visit.
