What's up? welcolme to my homepage, not too much to say about me, I like very much to be around my family and friends; I like taking pictures so here will be a good place to show them. Traveling is what I like most, I try to stay away from the big cities when I'm traveling; I feel if you going to experience what particular country is all about, is to visit the countrysides and villages; here you can savor their cuisine and enjoy their people and culture.

Hyatt Regency Trinidad- Dec07 : I was in Trinidad for 2 weeks and along with a group of 20 Managers from different cities were here to do a lot of work, everything from cleaning, organizing and training. The new hotel is situaded in the heart of downtown Port of Spain. Trinidad is the result of a fusion of many different cultures. It hosts an annual pre-Lenten Carnival. It is the birthplace of Calypso music, the Steelpan musical instrument and Limbo dance. Trinidad is also an industrial island with a diversified economy, based to a large extent on oil and natural gas, industry and agriculture. It is one of the leading gas-based export centers in the world, being the leading exporter of ammonia and methanol and among the top five exporters of liquefied natural gas. Natural scenery includes: a variety of beaches, swamps, areas of seasonal tropical forests and the hills of the Northern Range.

Bush Gardens, Tampa : George planned a weekend in Tampa to go to Bush Gardens. We had a wonderful weekend, just like the good old times. Keren and Astrid joined us to go to the park, Adam stayed behind playing golf since he does not ride roller coasters. Later that evening we went out for dinner and to a club.

My trip to Peru : This trip was a wonderful experience, besides been sick just for 1 day due to the altitude, I had a great time, I joined my sister Lourdes and Carlos; later in the trip, Karla ( Carlos' sister )joined us in Cusco and Lima, Carlos' friends Nina and Joaquin also joined the trip. This was a 12 day adventure, we tour the Amazon,Cusco and the Sacred Valley,Machu Pichu, Lake Titicaca, Cajamarca and Lima Peru has an amazing landscape, what I liked best was their culture and food. Enjoy

FRANCE : I visited France in 1998,I convinced my brothers MIke and Rene and my sister Lourdes and brother in law Carlos to come with me. Our Journey lasted 14 days,starting in Paris where we took the fast train to Bordeaux, here we rented a car and cross the entire country stopping in lush vineyards,the Laquedoc region famous for its rare black troufles and medieval villages; next on our stop were the royal chateaux country and visiting impressive castles and abbeys and finally the Alsace and the Route De Vin ( the wine route), the picturesque flowered villages looks if they were taken out of a storybook, with half-timbered houses,cobblestone streets and colorful courtyards. It is very interesting to see how these well preserved renaissance villages,whose captivating old houses are so brightly painted it is hard to believe the colors are historically aunthentic..... I need to retire here !!!!

Honduras... mi patria : This trip was long due,it's amazing how I was born there and lived for 24 years and never had the opportunity to visit places. Honduras has amazing landscape,colonial towns and nice beaches... did I mentioned food? I was able to enjoy fun time together with some old high school friends,I can say this was the highlight of my trip. I visited the capital Tegucigalpa, Valle de Angeles for some authentic Honduran crafts,Copan to visit the ruins and Roatan for some beach fun. In Copan, we stayed in Hacienda San Lucas,a 100 year old family owned retreat; if you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is the place to go. The food is prepared in rustic, open kitchen. Flavia, thanks so much for your hospitality and to my dear friends I will come back to visit.

New Mexico, Nov 2008 : New Mexico has a lot of history,nice little towns and beautiful landscape, our visit started in Las Cruces to spend Thanksgiving with the " Kinglows", we then drove up to Alburqueque and Santa Ana where we stay at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa, form there we visited, Acoma Pueblo, Santa Fe, Chimayo and Taos.
